Together with popular Dutch design duo Scholten and Baijings, Pressalit Seats challenges tradition and provides a prime example of how a simple, minimalist look can also add an element of surprise.
Stefan Scholten and Carole Baijings combine minimal forms and a balanced use of colour with traditional craftsmanship and industrial production. With its eye-catching design, Scholten & Baijings builds bridges between the roles of designer, artist and manufacturer. The design duo’s close relationship with skilled craftsmen and leading manufacturers results in designs with a perfect finish and a personal signature. Thanks to their unique interpretation of a wide range of production processes and working methods, Scholten & Baijings time and again presents products that are functional, unique and innovative. The duo's look is especially known for its play with geometric shapes, simple graphic lines and, above all, surprising detail. That's why this young duo was the ideal choice to interpret and innovate Pressalit Seats' look.
The Colour Blend series is based on a minimalist dot pattern, available in different sizes and colours. The colour palette was chosen based on colour studies that ensure the series' graphical look suits the bathroom's classic white bathroom elements.
The nuances in the dotty pattern match Pressalit Seats' existing colour collection and spans light grey nuances to clear blue to white. The colour combinations were created to fit into the four worlds 'White Basics', 'Solid Grey', 'All Natural' and 'Black Tones'.
Colour Blend is available in Mordern Art and Pressalit 3.
